desk… lap… TABLETOP Computers

In the recent years computers became such a common thing in households that it seems almost impossible to live without them as without tables or chairs for example. Children learn to operate computer before they learn to walk. Nevertheless many people around the world learned to use computers in their adult years. These people still can remember how hard it was to learn to use disk drives and mouse. And after they mastered the art of double clicking, laptops came to surface. Touch pads! They used to drive me crazy in the beginning.

If one had experienced the same sorts of problems, the person can understand the excitement over the new Microsoft invention. In May 2007, Microsoft announced table top computers. The interesting thing about this that the new machine, according to MSNBC.com, is “a coffee-table shaped computer that responds to touch and to special bar codes attached to everyday objects.”

All one needs to do is to wash hands before playing with the computer, no mouse or a touch pad required!
